“Lover’s Eyes”

For a project centered around the archetype of a lover's eye jewel, I explored the concept that lovers themselves can be seen as a collection—like a forgotten assortment of cherished jewelry from the past. While we may no longer wear these pieces, they remain imbued with memories. Tracy Emin's work, Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963–1995, was a significant source of inspiration for this exploration.


I engraved a collection of pieces with dates, these dates referred to the period I used to date them. Then I linked the jewellery with a picture of my former lover’s eye.  The idea of voyeurism is really present in this work.
